Douglas. Fir
Features: High preservation and moderate processability. Good drying and poor adhesion and paintability.
Use: plywood, lumber for construction, construction, civil engineering and furniture manufacturing, wooden houses.
Hemlock
Features: As an evergreen coniferous tree, the wood grain is fine and the fine grain is normal. Cutting, drying and adhesive coating are all good, but the porosity is poor. It is weak against moisture, has good grinding and is glossy.
Use: It is widely used as general building material, sculpture material, ceiling, floor ring, civil wood, landscape material, and Hanok material.
Walnut
Features: As a deciduous broad-leaved tree, sapwood is white or pale yellow brown, and heartwood is purple or brown. A lot of dark and soft stripes appear irregularly.
Use: Plastering veneer, furniture or musical instrument, wall plate.
